TAXEE BUSINESS TERMS FOR TAXI COMPANIES
Effective date: 14 August 2026
Last updated: 14 August 2026
1. General Provisions
These Taxee Business Terms for Taxi Companies (“Terms”) govern the use of the Taxee software platform by independent taxi companies and the relationship between such companies and the platform operator.
The operator of the Taxee platform is:
LJet s.r.o.
Obchodná 39
811 06 Bratislava
Slovakia
IČO: 46 910 590
DIČ: 2023651465
IČ DPH (VAT): SK2023651465
Email: [email protected]
By creating a company account or using Taxee, the company representative confirms that they are authorised to act on behalf of the relevant company and to accept these Terms.
2. What Taxee Is
Taxee is a technology platform and marketplace for software services provided to independent taxi companies.
Taxee provides software and server infrastructure through which a company may, among other things:
- manage drivers and vehicles;
- create service categories;
- set its own fares;
- configure available payment methods;
- receive ride requests from the passenger application;
- participate in Taxee Pool;
- use Taxee Driver;
- use Manual Dispatcher;
- use AI Voice Dispatcher;
- register Street Rides;
- manage ride requests and ride statuses;
- maintain trip history;
- use calculation tools;
- generate and access invoices;
- receive technical support;
- use other available Taxee functions.
LJet s.r.o. is not a taxi company, does not act as a carrier, and is not the employer of the company’s drivers.
3. Independence of the Taxi Company
Each taxi company using Taxee operates as an independent business entity.
Use of Taxee does not create between LJet s.r.o. and the taxi company any relationship of:
- employer and employee;
- carrier and subcontracted carrier;
- agency;
- representation;
- partnership;
- joint venture;
- franchise.
The taxi company operates its own transportation business independently.
Taxee provides software and technical tools.
4. Transportation Agreement
Passenger transportation services are provided directly by the relevant taxi company.
The transportation agreement is concluded between the passenger and the taxi company performing the trip.
LJet s.r.o. is not a party to the transportation agreement.
This applies regardless of the technical channel through which the ride request was created.
5. Company Registration
The taxi company creates its own Taxee account and enters the required information.
The person registering the company confirms that they are authorised to act on its behalf.
The company is responsible for the accuracy, current status, and lawfulness of the information provided.
Registration on Taxee does not itself constitute licensing, certification, or confirmation that the company is legally entitled to provide passenger transportation services.
6. Company Data and Settings
The taxi company independently manages the information in its account, including:
- company name;
- legal and registration details;
- tax information;
- address;
- telephone number;
- email address;
- support email;
- logo;
- drivers;
- vehicles;
- categories;
- fares;
- payment methods;
- financial and calculation settings;
- other available settings.
The company is responsible for the accuracy of the information it enters.
7. Licences, Permits, and Legal Compliance
The taxi company is independently responsible for compliance with laws applicable to its activities.
In particular, the company is responsible for:
- licences and concessions;
- transportation permits;
- insurance;
- vehicles;
- roadworthiness of vehicles;
- lawful use of vehicles;
- driver qualifications;
- required driving and professional documents;
- tax obligations;
- accounting obligations;
- relationships with its drivers;
- compliance with other applicable transportation requirements.
LJet s.r.o. is not a licensing or regulatory authority and does not perform mandatory advance verification of every document relating to the company, its drivers, or vehicles.
8. Right to Request Information
LJet s.r.o. may request additional information or documents from the company where reasonably necessary, including in cases involving:
- suspected fraud;
- serious complaints;
- safety risks;
- suspected misuse of the platform;
- potentially false information;
- a binding request from a competent authority.
Such a request does not mean that LJet s.r.o. assumes the role of a governmental or licensing authority.
9. Company Drivers
The taxi company independently decides which drivers it works with.
A driver may be added by the company using the driver’s telephone number.
After the driver registers and verifies the telephone number, Taxee may technically link the driver’s account to the relevant company.
The company may:
- add a driver;
- activate a driver;
- temporarily suspend a driver;
- restore a driver;
- remove the driver’s association with the company.
10. Drivers Working With Multiple Companies
A driver may be associated with several independent taxi companies.
However, only one company may be active at a time in Taxee Driver.
Suspension or removal of a driver by one company does not by itself prevent that driver from working through another company, provided that the driver’s Taxee account has not been restricted by the platform itself.
11. Relationship Between the Company and Its Drivers
The taxi company and its drivers independently determine their legal, commercial, and financial relationship.
LJet s.r.o. does not set:
- working schedules;
- working hours;
- mandatory numbers of trips;
- salary;
- driver remuneration;
- driver percentage;
- company commission charged to the driver;
- payment arrangements;
- conditions for use of vehicles.
Taxee may provide technical tools for automatic calculations based on settings selected by the company.
Such functionality does not make LJet s.r.o. a party to the relationship between the company and the driver.
12. Driver Freedom to Accept Ride Requests
Drivers independently decide whether to accept each ride request offered to them.
A driver may accept, decline, or not respond to a ride request.
LJet s.r.o. does not impose a penalty solely because a driver declines or does not respond to a ride request.
Taxee does not guarantee any specific number of ride requests to the company or its drivers.
13. Company Fares
Each taxi company independently sets its own fares.
Within the available Taxee functionality, the company may determine:
- price per kilometre;
- minimum trip price;
- fare categories;
- parameters for different vehicle classes;
- additional services;
- other available calculation parameters.
LJet s.r.o. does not impose mandatory minimum or maximum fares and does not determine the company’s commercial pricing policy.
14. Fare Calculation and Price Confirmation
Taxee applies fare parameters entered by the company to technically calculate the trip price.
Where a calculated price is shown to the passenger before the ride request is created, that price is fixed once the relevant ride request is confirmed.
The company and driver must not arbitrarily change a price already confirmed by the passenger through actions outside the functionality provided by Taxee.
RIDE REQUEST CHANNELS
15. Ride Request Channels
Taxee may provide several technical channels for creating ride requests:
- A. Passenger App — ride request for a specific taxi company;
- B. Taxee Pool — marketplace ride request;
- C. AI Voice Dispatcher — company telephone channel;
- D. Manual Dispatcher — company manual dispatching channel;
- E. Street Ride — passenger accepted directly by the driver.
The source of the ride request is recorded in the system and may be used for technical, calculation, and accounting purposes.
16. Ride Request for a Specific Company Through the Passenger App
A passenger may select a specific available taxi company.
The price of such a ride request is calculated using that company’s fares.
The ride request is offered to suitable drivers of that company.
If no suitable driver is found, the current search may end.
A subsequent Pool search constitutes a new calculation and does not retroactively change the price calculated for the previous ride request.
TAXEE POOL
17. Taxee Pool
Taxee Pool is a marketplace function through which passengers may use available independent carriers without manually selecting one specific taxi company.
Each company independently sets its own fares.
Taxee identifies companies with suitable Online drivers available for the relevant ride request.
18. Pool Price Calculation
For the same route, the system calculates the trip price using the fares of each available company.
Where several companies are available, the Pool Price is calculated as the arithmetic mean of the corresponding calculated trip prices.
Where only one company is available, that company’s calculated price is used.
LJet s.r.o. does not set the underlying fares of the companies.
19. Independence of the Pool Price
LJet s.r.o.:
- does not set a minimum Pool Price;
- does not set a maximum Pool Price;
- does not set a mandatory price per kilometre;
- does not impose a pricing range;
- does not manually modify the calculated result.
The Pool Price is the result of automated mathematical processing of fares independently set by participating companies.
Once confirmed by the passenger, the price is fixed for the relevant ride request.
20. Distribution of Pool Ride Requests
Pool ride requests are offered to suitable Online drivers according to the platform’s technical algorithm.
The system may take into account:
- distance;
- location;
- driver operating area;
- vehicle category;
- selected vehicle;
- active company;
- driver availability;
- other relevant technical parameters.
The ride request may be offered sequentially to suitable drivers, including on the basis of the nearest suitable driver.
The driver may accept, decline, or ignore the offer.
AI VOICE DISPATCHER
21. AI Voice Dispatcher
Taxee may provide the company with the additional AI Voice Dispatcher function.
AI Voice Dispatcher is a software tool for automated processing of telephone ride requests for a specific taxi company.
Use of this function is voluntary.
The company independently decides whether to use it continuously, temporarily, during peak hours, or not at all.
22. Company Public Telephone Number
The company continues to use its own public dispatch telephone number.
Passengers call the relevant taxi company’s number, not a public Taxee telephone number.
The company registers its authorised dispatch telephone number in Taxee.
23. Virtual Number
For technical operation of AI Voice Dispatcher, Taxee provides the company with a virtual telephone number through the relevant communications infrastructure.
This number is intended for technical servicing of the company’s specific channel and is not intended for independent public advertising to passengers.
The system may be configured so that the virtual number processes forwarded calls only from the authorised dispatch number registered by the company.
24. Call Forwarding Is Controlled by the Company
LJet s.r.o. does not activate or manage call forwarding from the company’s public telephone number.
The company independently decides when to activate or deactivate forwarding from its own number to the provided virtual number.
The company therefore retains control over when AI Voice Dispatcher is used.
25. Identification of AI Voice Dispatcher
At the beginning of the call, AI Voice Dispatcher informs the caller that they are interacting with a digital or AI-powered dispatcher of the relevant taxi company.
The company name, greeting, closing message, and other supported elements of the dialogue may be adapted to the relevant company.
The company may also use available pronunciation or transcription settings so that its company or brand name is pronounced correctly.
AI Voice Dispatcher operates as a software tool of the company.
LJet s.r.o. is not presented to the passenger as the carrier.
26. Processing of Telephone Ride Requests
AI Voice Dispatcher may obtain information from the passenger that is necessary to create a ride request, including:
- pickup location;
- destination;
- vehicle category;
- other necessary trip parameters.
The information obtained is technically used to create a ride request for the relevant taxi company.
Telephone conversations are not recorded by Taxee as audio recordings under the described functionality. Necessary information is processed for the purpose of creating and supporting the ride request in accordance with the Taxee Privacy Policy.
27. AI Ride Requests Belong to the Company Channel
A ride request created through the AI Voice Dispatcher of a specific company:
- belongs to that company’s channel;
- is offered only to suitable drivers of that company;
- is not offered to drivers of other companies;
- is never transferred to the general Taxee Pool;
- is calculated exclusively using the fares of the relevant company.
Pool Price does not apply to this channel.
28. Availability Requirements for AI Voice Dispatcher
To activate AI Voice Dispatcher, the company must have at least 3 connected drivers and 3 registered vehicles on the platform.
This is a technical eligibility condition for the additional function and is not a general requirement for registering a company on Taxee.
If the relevant conditions are no longer met, access to the function may be restricted until they are met again.
29. SMS Used With AI Voice Dispatcher
Taxee may use SMS notifications to support ride requests created through AI Voice Dispatcher.
The standard communication cycle may include:
- an SMS containing information about the assigned driver and vehicle;
- an SMS confirming the driver’s arrival;
- an SMS following completion of the trip containing a thank-you message and a link to the invoice or other trip confirmation document.
The price is €0.05 per SMS sent, unless a different current price is displayed in the company interface before the service is used.
SMS charges are separate communication charges and apply in addition to the Platform Fee.
MANUAL DISPATCHER
30. Company Manual Dispatcher
The company account may include access to its own Manual Dispatcher.
The company may provide access to this function to its authorised dispatcher or employee.
The company is responsible for users to whom it grants access to its dispatching interface.
31. Manual Dispatcher Ride Requests
A ride request created through Manual Dispatcher:
- is a ride request of the specific taxi company;
- is sent only to drivers of that company;
- is not transferred to other companies;
- does not participate in Taxee Pool;
- is calculated using the fares of the relevant company;
- is included in the trip history and Gross Turnover of that company.
Manual Dispatcher is a software tool of the company.
STREET RIDE
32. Street Ride
Taxee Driver may provide drivers with the Street Ride function for registering a passenger accepted directly by the driver without a prior ride request through the Passenger App.
A Street Ride always belongs to the driver’s active taxi company at the time the trip is created.
A Street Ride is not a Pool ride request.
33. Street Ride Calculation
When a Street Ride is created:
- point A is determined using the current location;
- the driver enters destination B;
- the system determines the active company;
- the system determines the active vehicle category;
- the corresponding fare of that company is applied;
- Taxee calculates the trip price.
For example, where the active vehicle is in the Comfort category, the Comfort fare of the active company is used.
34. Street Ride Confirmation
The calculated price is shown to the passenger before the trip is created.
If the passenger accepts the price, the driver creates the Street Ride.
Once created, the price is fixed for that trip.
The Street Ride is recorded as a trip of the driver’s active taxi company.
35. Street Ride Document
After completion of a Street Ride, Taxee generates an invoice or other applicable confirmation document on behalf of the relevant taxi company.
The document is stored and may be provided to the passenger through the available platform functionality.
PASSENGER PAYMENTS
36. Payment Methods
The company independently determines the supported payment methods, which may include:
- Card;
- Terminal;
- Cash;
- other supported methods.
37. Stripe Connect
For card payments, the company may connect its own Stripe account through Stripe Connect.
The company independently completes any procedures required by Stripe.
Passenger funds paid for transportation services do not enter the bank account of LJet s.r.o.
Funds are processed through Stripe for the benefit of the relevant taxi company and are directed to its connected Stripe account.
LJet s.r.o. provides the technical integration.
38. Cash and Terminal
For Cash or Terminal payments, settlement takes place directly within the relationship between the passenger, driver, and relevant company.
LJet s.r.o. does not receive or hold these funds.
GROSS TURNOVER AND PLATFORM FEE
39. Gross Turnover
All completed trips registered through Taxee are included in the Gross Turnover of the relevant company.
This applies regardless of the source of the ride request.
Gross Turnover includes, in particular:
- Passenger App Company Orders;
- Taxee Pool;
- AI Voice Dispatcher;
- Manual Dispatcher;
- Street Ride.
40. Payment Method Does Not Affect Gross Turnover
The value of a completed trip is included in Gross Turnover regardless of how the passenger pays:
- Card;
- Terminal;
- Cash.
For the purpose of calculating the Platform Fee, the relevant amount is the value of the completed trip recorded in Taxee, not the actual route through which the passenger funds are received.
41. Platform Fee
The standard fee for use of Taxee is 4.9% of the Gross Turnover of completed trips, unless different commercial terms have been separately agreed with a specific company.
The Platform Fee applies to all completed trips regardless of ride request channel or payment method.
Accordingly:
- Passenger App → 4.9%
- Pool → 4.9%
- AI Voice Dispatcher → 4.9%
- Manual Dispatcher → 4.9%
- Street Ride → 4.9%
42. Unified Turnover Counter
Taxee automatically records the value of completed trips and combines it into the company’s unified Gross Turnover figure.
The Platform Fee is calculated on the basis of this figure.
Different ride request channels do not create separate Platform Fee percentage models unless otherwise separately agreed.
43. Separation of Financial Relationships
The parties acknowledge two separate financial relationships:
- Passenger → Taxi Company — payment for the transportation service;
- Taxi Company → LJet s.r.o. — Platform Fee for use of the Taxee software infrastructure.
LJet s.r.o. does not become the recipient of passenger transportation payments merely because the Platform Fee is calculated by reference to Gross Turnover.
44. Changes to the Platform Fee
LJet s.r.o. may change the Platform Fee for future use of the platform.
The company will be notified in advance in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
A new rate does not apply retroactively to trips already completed.
COMPANY BALANCE
45. Balance
Taxee may use an internal company balance for payment of the Platform Fee and other applicable paid platform functions.
The company independently tops up the balance using the available payment instrument.
46. Insufficient Balance
Taxee may allow the company to continue operating temporarily with a limited negative balance.
The company may receive notifications requesting that the balance be topped up.
Once the applicable critical negative threshold is reached, access to the company’s services may be temporarily suspended.
Drivers associated with the company may also temporarily lose the ability to receive ride requests through that company.
47. Restoration of Access
After the outstanding balance is resolved and the company balance is topped up, access may be restored automatically or technically, provided there are no other grounds for restriction.
48. Positive Balance
Where a company permanently stops using Taxee, it may request a refund of any unused positive balance.
Before issuing a refund, LJet s.r.o. may verify that no outstanding amounts remain and that the requesting person is authorised to act on behalf of the company.
Refunds are processed subject to applicable law and the capabilities of the relevant payment provider.
INVOICES
49. Passenger Invoice
After completion of a trip, Taxee generates and makes available an electronic invoice for the relevant transportation service.
The invoice for passenger transportation is issued on behalf of the relevant taxi company, not LJet s.r.o.
The invoice is made available within the relevant Taxee functionality and may also be delivered to the passenger through the available communication channels.
The taxi company is responsible for the accuracy of:
- legal details;
- tax details;
- VAT information;
- information contained in the document;
- its own accounting and tax obligations.
Taxee provides the technical infrastructure for generating, storing, accessing, downloading, and delivering the invoice.
RESPONSIBILITY
50. Company Responsibility for Transportation Services
The company is independently responsible for the actual provision of transportation services, including:
- driver conduct;
- safety;
- vehicles;
- road traffic accidents;
- insurance;
- licences and permits;
- quality of service;
- performance of the trip;
- passenger luggage;
- compliance with transportation laws.
LJet s.r.o. is not liable as a carrier merely because Taxee was used to create or support the trip.
51. Passenger Complaints
The company is independently responsible for handling complaints directly related to its transportation services.
Taxee may display the company name and support email to the passenger.
If a complaint is submitted directly to LJet s.r.o., it may be forwarded to the relevant company.
52. Serious Incidents
Where serious circumstances arise involving safety, fraud, unlawful activity, or material misuse of the platform, LJet s.r.o. may take reasonable temporary technical measures.
Taxee may request explanations or information from the relevant company.
53. Suspension of a Company
A company’s access may be temporarily restricted, including due to:
- outstanding debt;
- fraud;
- fictitious trips;
- artificial inflation of turnover;
- technical attacks;
- misuse of APIs;
- circumvention of security mechanisms;
- serious breach of these Terms;
- safety risks;
- a binding request from a competent authority.
Such restriction is a technical measure governing access to the platform and is not a governmental administrative sanction.
TECHNICAL SUPPORT
54. Support
The company has access to Taxee technical support through the built-in Support Ticket system and the official support email: [email protected]
The company may use Support for matters including:
- technical errors;
- ride request issues;
- synchronisation issues;
- settings;
- payment integration;
- AI Voice Dispatcher;
- Manual Dispatcher;
- Taxee Driver;
- other technical matters.
55. Target Resolution Time
For technical issues directly related to Taxee infrastructure, the standard target time for processing and resolution is up to 24 hours after sufficient information about the issue has been received.
Where resolution depends on a third-party provider or circumstances beyond the reasonable control of LJet s.r.o., final resolution may require additional time.
In such cases, Taxee will take reasonable measures to diagnose, escalate, and restore the affected functionality.
56. No Guaranteed SLA
Unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing, the support timeframe does not constitute a guarantee of 100% platform availability or unconditional resolution of every issue within 24 hours.
Taxee may depend on:
- server infrastructure;
- Stripe;
- Firebase;
- telecommunications providers;
- SMS services;
- email services;
- mapping services;
- mobile network operators;
- internet connectivity;
- operating systems;
- other third-party infrastructure.
USE OF THE PLATFORM
57. Prohibited Use
The company must not:
- create fictitious trips;
- artificially increase Gross Turnover;
- manipulate calculations;
- provide false information;
- use Taxee for fraudulent purposes;
- interfere with APIs, servers, or software code;
- circumvent security mechanisms;
- unlawfully use passenger data;
- misuse virtual telephone numbers;
- misuse AI Voice Dispatcher;
- provide unauthorised access to third parties;
- use Taxee in violation of applicable law.
58. Personal Data
Processing of personal data by the platform is governed by the separate Taxee Privacy Policy.
The company is independently responsible for its own processing of personal data in the course of its activities and must comply with applicable data protection laws.
59. Intellectual Property
Taxee software, Taxee Driver, Passenger App, Manual Dispatcher, AI Voice Dispatcher, algorithms, interfaces, APIs, design, and other software components are owned by LJet s.r.o. or lawfully used by it.
The company receives a limited right to use Taxee functionality for its business in accordance with these Terms.
Ownership of the software is not transferred to the company.
60. Operation of the Software
LJet s.r.o. takes reasonable measures to maintain stable operation of Taxee.
However, uninterrupted and error-free operation cannot be guaranteed at all times.
Technical maintenance, updates, temporary outages, and third-party service issues may occur.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability of LJet s.r.o. to the extent that such liability cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
61. Changes to Functionality
LJet s.r.o. may develop, modify, add, or discontinue individual Taxee functions.
This may include changes to:
- interfaces;
- algorithms;
- ride request channels;
- AI functions;
- communication services;
- integrations;
- payment functions;
- other technical components.
62. Changes to These Terms
LJet s.r.o. may update these Terms.
The company will receive advance notice of material changes where and within the periods required by applicable law.
Changes do not apply retroactively to completed transactions unless otherwise required by law.
63. Termination of Use
The company may stop using Taxee.
LJet s.r.o. may also restrict or terminate provision of the service where grounds set out in these Terms exist and subject to applicable law.
Termination does not cancel obligations that arose before the termination date.
64. Applicable Law
The relationship between LJet s.r.o. and the company is governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic, unless mandatory provisions of applicable law require otherwise.
To the extent permitted by law, disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts at the registered seat of LJet s.r.o., unless otherwise separately agreed in writing.
This section does not govern the transportation agreement between the company and the passenger.
