We introduced this feature so drivers can serve passengers efficiently while ensuring every ride remains transparent, properly documented, and recorded in the company's system.

When a passenger approaches you directly

At train stations, near shopping centers and hotels, or simply on the street, passengers often find themselves needing a taxi urgently.

In these situations, you don't need to ask the passenger to install an app or contact the dispatch center.

The "Street Booking" feature lets you create a ride yourself directly in Taxee Driver. In effect, you act as the dispatcher for your own booking.

How do you create a street booking?

Open the "Street Booking" section in Taxee Driver.

Point A — the passenger's pickup location — is automatically determined from your current GPS location.

You only need to enter the destination address — point B. The app automatically calculates the route, distance, estimated travel time, and fare.

The fare is calculated using your taxi company's current rates, taking into account the class of vehicle you're driving.

You don't need to calculate the mileage or determine the fare yourself.

The fare is known before the ride begins

One of the main benefits of this feature is that you can agree on the fare transparently with the passenger.

Once the route is calculated, you can immediately see the distance, estimated travel time, and fare, which you can share with the passenger.

If the passenger agrees to the proposed price, simply tap "Create Booking" and begin the ride.

The passenger knows the fare in advance, and you operate according to your company's official rates. This helps avoid misunderstandings and disputes when it's time to pay.

Every ride is recorded by your company

A street booking is a fully registered ride in the Taxee Marketplace system.

After you create the booking, your company receives the ride details, and your working status changes according to each stage of the trip.

The ride appears in the overall booking history, counts toward performance statistics, and remains available for later review.

This means that even when a passenger approaches you directly on the street, your taxi company's standard process for recording and monitoring rides is maintained.

Documents for passengers after the ride

Once the ride is completed, the system generates a document — an invoice containing details of the service provided.

If necessary, you can send it to the passenger through a convenient, available communication channel.

This is especially important for passengers who need proof of their ride for personal records, accounting, or expense reporting.
