Navigation in Taxee Driver

We've made it possible to use familiar navigation services so drivers can focus on completing ride requests without spending time manually entering addresses.

Choose the navigation app you prefer

Open the "Navigation" section in Taxee Driver settings and select your preferred app — Google Maps or Waze.

Your selected navigation app will be used during trips and will automatically receive the necessary route addresses.

You can change your selection at any time.

Automatic directions to the passenger

After you accept a ride request, Taxee Driver automatically sends the pickup address — point A — to your selected navigation app.

The navigation app plans a route to the passenger, taking into account available road information, traffic congestion, driving restrictions, and possible changes in road conditions.

You don't need to enter the address manually or search for the pickup location.

Navigation during the trip

Once the passenger gets into the vehicle and you start the trip, navigation automatically switches to the final destination address — point B.

Google Maps or Waze helps you choose a suitable route based on current traffic conditions.

This is especially useful when driving to unfamiliar addresses, other parts of the city, or through heavy traffic.

If you don't need navigation

Experienced drivers who know their city well can select the "No navigation" option.

In this case, Taxee Driver won't automatically launch an external navigation app when handling ride requests.
